The Pleasure Beach

acres of funland.

Major Rides and Attractions:
The Pepsi Max Big One is the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in
Europe. At 235 feet high and with speeds reaching up to 87mph, the
Big One is certainly head and shoulders above the rest.
Valhalla is an enormous indoor log flume ride and is the biggest,
most spectacular dark ride ever to be constructed by mankind.
The Ice Blast, the UK’s first of its kind. Riders are catapulted up
a 210 ft tower at 80mph, and thrust back down again for an
incredible free-fall descent. |

The White-knuckle ride Spin Doctor has riders spinning 360 degrees
through the air to heights of 120 feet at speeds of over 60 mph.
The Bling experience sees you are lifted a whopping 100 feet above
the ground and spun through the air on giant glittering gondolas in
three different directions at speeds of over 60mph as the ride pulls
2.5gs.
Europe's first twin-track racing coaster was constructed in 1935 and
remains one of the most popular wooden rollercoasters in the world.
There are have 45 restaurants and cafes offering a range of eating
experiences from the Oriental to traditional fish and chips to pizza
and pasta. Arrive for breakfast, stay for lunch or dinner, or take a
snack on the go!
