Is an enchanting attraction, set in two and a half acres of beautiful gardens,
situated on the edge of Stanley Park. We are a welcome respite from the hustle &
bustle of the resort's more livelier attractions. For over thirty years, people of all
ages have been attracted to Blackpool Model Village & Gardens to view not only the
handcrafted models but also to admire the landscaped gardens they are set in. |

Stride like Gulliver in Lilliput through the
tree lined gardens, observing many scenes of life in miniature. Marvel at the many
hand-crafted models and figures that represent life's rich tapestry. Step back in
time to those bygone days when life seemed to move at a slower pace, from a Scottish
Castle, guarded by its ranks of guardsmen, to a tranquil Cornish Village. From
thatched cottages to a Tudor Village, whose residents enjoy a cricket match on the village
green. |
| The garden features many rare and beautiful
plants, shrubs and trees that will interest both the keen horticulturist, as well as those
who just appreciate delightful flora. The
garden has many water features throughout its grounds, from small trickling streams to
large ponds teeming with fish. The gardens have been designed to reflect the
changing seasons, and it is for this reason many visitors return throughout the year to
observe nature's continually changing tapestry. |

is unique in that it was designed by a landscape gardener who placed as much
emphasis on the delights of the garden as he did on the layout of the village tableaux. |
The peacefulness of the environment in the Model
Village & Gardens has encouraged much of the local wildlife to make their
home in the delightful surroundings. The amateur naturalist will find much to keep
themselves occupied. Two railways and a tram also feature in the Model Village.

A Note From The Webmaster
On visiting the Model Village & Gardens I
was impressed at the amount of models, and their standard, some of which have motorised
functions, notably a water wheel and several railways. Many new models are being installed
together with displays with various theme's, the whole of the grounds are relaxing and
quiet, a real haven and well worth a visit. |

Times of Opening
10.30 am to dusk - 7 Days a week from March to
the end of the Illuminations. From February 10th to March 10th the Model Village
will be open, at the weekend only, from 10.30am to 4.00pm at Specially Reduced Prices.

Facilities
A Café serving light refreshments, cold
drinks and confectionery.
A gift shop to buy a memento of your visit to the Model Village & Gardens.
Toilets and Baby changing facilities.
We have a wheelchair available to assist the
infirm and elderly to appreciate the delights of the Model Village & Gardens.

the Tower which also services the Zoo.
